A single story mid-century house on a steeply sloped lot was dramatically altered by this three story back addition.  Taking advantage of the slope, the lower level has windows and sliding doors on three sides and serves as an art studio.  On the main floor, a new game room provides much needed family space.  A master suite occupies the new top floor, with amazing panoramic views and a large balcony.  Despite the substantial size of this addition, it fits with and complements the original home.
